HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Folks that are heading out on the town to celebrate the holiday had better bundle back up tonight, for temperatures will continue to drop back through the 30s. Most of the area will end up dry overnight, except for a few flurries that form near the ski lifts. Tomorrow morning will start around 30-degrees, heralding another cold weekend-- officially the last weekend of winter.

Though there will be bouts of sunshine on Saturday, cold air will continue ooze in from the north. This will spark occasional layers of clouds (and a few mountain flurries). Temperatures will struggle to get back into the 40s, and will have no problem plummeting through the 20s Saturday night. Sunday brings back a more longer-lasting sunshine, but the cold will be at its peak, keeping most of us in the 30s. Spring officially starts on Monday, and that day will begin with yet another hard freeze. Sunshine continues through the middle of next week, gradually moderating the temperatures. By mid-week, the 60-degree mark will return, hopefully putting us in a much more seasonable mood.
